Order to deliver to Richard chaplain, a third of an acre of meadow in Fitelton, which the lately caused to be taken into his hands by reason of the death of de Candever, tenant in chief, to be held in the same way as Richard's who died seised thereof, was wont to hold it, as the king learns by men that Richard has right in the said third of an acre, and he ought to render 12d. yearly to the king therefor, as is contained in charter of feoffment that he has. the same. Whereas the king learns by inquisition taken by the that Robert de Bures ought to receive by the charter of feoffment de Ferrariis, deceased, 100s. of yearly rent from the manor of which is in the king's hands by reason of. John, son and heir of [de Ferrariis], a minor, being in the king's hands, and that Robert had peaceful seisin thereof until the last year that Robert [de lived, in which year Robert [de Ferrariis] detained the rent him, and the king, having inspected the charter of feoffment, does wish to wrong Robert [de Bures]: he orders the steward, if he ascertain Robert de Bures entered into no other contract with Robert de after the time of the feoffment so that he should not receive the in form aforesaid, to cause Robert de Bures to have the rent from the of the manor for so long as it shall be in the king's wardship, saving king the custody of all the lands that Robert de Ferrariis had in for the rent aforesaid.
