Order not to intermeddle further with the lands of Raulina de Hegham, and to restore the issues of the lands that are not held of the archbishopric of Canterbury, as the king learns by inquisition taken by the escheator that Raulina held : at her death the manor of Herbaldon of the archbishopric of Canterbury, : lately void and in the king's hands, as of the manor of Westgate, by the service of rendering 20s. yearly and 8 hens at Christmas to the manor of Westgate and of doing suit at the court of Westgate from three weeks to three weeks, and that she did not hold any other lands of the king in chief : as of the crown by reason whereof the custody of her lands ought to per- F tain to the king, but that she held on the said day other lands of divers 7 other lords by various services, and that Roger de Hegham, her son, is her ; next heir and is of full age.
