Order to take the fealty of John Culleye, and to give him livery of his purparty of a moiety of the manor of Thorne Coffyn and the advowson of the church, keeping the purparties of Agnes, Christina and Juliana Verlegh in the king's hand, and certifying that purparty for enrolment in chancery ; as it is found by inquisition, taken by Robert James the late king's escheator, that Emma Coffyn and Isabel Coffyn at their deaths held no lands in Somerset in chief, but held the same moiety and the advowson by knight service of the heir of Edmund de Clyvedon knight, a minor in the king's wardship, and the said Edmund of the heir of Edward le Despenser a minor in the king's wardship and that Thomas Rotherden son of Alice one of the sisters of Richard Coffyn Tn oe waren Suffolk.
