To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of swpersedeas, wpon petition of Eleanor who was wife of Thomas Driffelde deceased, in respect of their demand upon her to answer for 261. 4s. 4d., and order thereof to discharge her, the mainpernors of her husband and others whatsoever, suffering her to keep the said sum; as her petition shewed that by reason of arrears of the farm of the alien priory of Andewelle, lately committed to the said Thomas by the king to hold during the war, all his goods and chattels were seized after his death, and appraised at the sum aforesaid, and that she has to support her four infant children by him, and of his compassion the king has granted and remitted the same to her.
