Grant rent of 4/., to be taken during the said Eleanor's life of his of Little Badewe called Graceshalle co. Essex, with condition upon the death of the said Eleanor, or of Margaret wife said Thomas, or in case after her husband's death the said shall thrust out the said Thomas and Margaret or either of their heirs or assigns, from the manor of Spryngefelde or any sometime of Sir Hugh de Badewe in Spryngefelde, Chelmesford or shall obtain a writ concerning any parcel thereof, appear in person or by attorney to make claim or demand to the same; and for greater security the grantor has put them in seisin of the said rent by payment of 6s. 8d.
