Mainprise for John Maunsel that unless he pay to William Rusteng of Bordeaux at Bordeaux on the Nativity of the Blessed Mary next, 815 pounds of Bordeaux, lent to him, the king will cause it to be paid at that term. And mandate to Walter de Harundell that if the said John make default in the payment of the money, he pay it out of the issues of Gascony, because if the king makes default at that term, he will have to refund the said William all damage incurred through such default.
