Grant to Guy de Russilun, for whom the king is bound to provide in 400 marks of rent, that the king will provide for him in the first ecclesiastical benefices when they fall void, until he is fully satisfied of that sum; and grant that the king will not ask anyone on behalf of any other clerk for any ecclesiastical benefice fit for this purpose, until he is fully provided. To receive those rents the king has appointed John son of Geoffrey, John Maunsel, Robert Passelewe and Paulinus Peyvre, or one of them, as the king has sent the said Guy on an embassage. And so soon as he 1s satisfied of the said 400 marks of rent whether by the king or by others at the king's request, the king shall be quit of 200 marks which he granted to him yearly at the Exchequer, and afterwards out of the issues of the lands late of Peter de Malo Lacu, until he should be fully provided for as above.
