Mandate to the archbishop of York, and W. bishop of Carlisle, to provide for the king's clerks Robert Passelewe and Peter Chaceporc in some prebend in the church of St. Paul, London, and for John le Maunsell, king's clerk, in the church of Wells, as soon as opportunity occurs. And because the king wishes to benefit his clerks who serve him well, he reserves all collations to benefices, whether prebendal or other, and they are not to confer any without his special mandate except upon king's clerks for whom the king has already directed letters patent to them. Robert Passelewe afterwards had separate letters for some prebend in the church of St. Paul.
