Commission to John Lestrange and Henry de Aldithele to hear the right which Roger de Monte Alto claims in the court of Mohaut, of the one part, and likewise the right which David son of Llewelin says he has in the same land and to enquire of the truth touching the right of either. They are to meet at Mohaut on the morrow of Mid Lent and hear the reasons (rationes) which both of them put forward on their behalf, diligently enquire into the right of either party, and to reduce to writing both the reasons and their finding and send the same under their seals to the king, so that justice may be done to both sides. They are to warn the parties to be before the king on the morrow of the Close of Easter to hear and receive what the court will declare.
