To L. prince of Abberfrau and lord, &c. The prince has sent to him the archdeacon of St. Asaph's, setting forth by him attacks and trespasses done in the prince's lands by some of the king's land contrary to the truce and requesting that amends be made for the same; but as it has not been made clear to the king by any of his lieges what attacks have been made on either side, he is sending Emery de Sancto Amando, Henry de Aldithele and John Lestrange to Muntgumeri that they may hear the same and do thereon what should be done according to the form of the truce. Mandate to Hubert Hoese, seneschal of Gascony, to protect the Jews of Gascony, and touching debts owing to them to show them full justice according to law and the customs of those parts.
