Grant also to the men of the said countess that whatever they can prove the king to owe to them by charter, or his men to owe to them by charter or otherwise, he will pay what is due from himself and will distrain his men to pay what is due from them so far as their goods and chattels will suffice. And to prove this when they will, the king has granted to the said men of Flanders safe-conduct in coming to England, staying there and returning.
