Ratification of a covenant made between Geoffrey le Despenser (D)ispensatorem) and Robert de Pavily touching the manor of Suleby, co. Northampton, which Robert let to Geoffrey at farm with the advowson of the church of the same manor and all other appurtenances for 21 years, as set forth in a chirograph made between them; and grant to Geoffrey that if Robert die before the said term, he and his heirs or assigns shall hold the premises until the end of that term, so that the king or his heirs will require no custody within that term, although the heir of the said Robert, by reason of other lands which he holds in chief would be in the king's ward during the said term.
