Appointment, during pleasure, of Adam son of William and Richard de lu Lade, king's clerk, to the custody of the king's escheats in the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk, Cambridge and Huntingdon, Northampton, Rutland, Stafford, Salop, Worcester, Hereford, Gloucester, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, Wilts, Southampton, Sussex, Surrey, Kent, . 55 Middlesex, Essex and Hertford, Oxford, Berks, Bedford and Buckingham, and Cornwall, to answer thereof at the Exchequer; and mandate to sheriffs and bailiffs not to mtermeddle with the said escheats unless requested and then when necessary to be aiding and counselling unto them.
