Mandate to the earls, barons, knights, and all summoned by the king to meet at Gloucester a fortnight after the Assumption, to coine without delay to the parts of Hereford [substituted for Shrewsbury] to hear and do what it shall seem to the king should be done. By P. de Rivallis. Peter the sub-prior and Thomas, the sacristan of Holy Trinity, (Canterbury, coming to the king with letters of the chapter, have licence to elect an archbishop by letters directed to the prior and convent.
