Writ de intendendo to the tenants of the abbey of St. Benet's Hulme in favour of -Adam de Neteshyrd, to whose election as abbot the king has given his assent, and to whom the king has restored the temporalities. Iii. 478 of Patrick de Ulesby to keep the honour of Lancaster as as other bailiffs have held it, for five years from Michaelmas, 89 III, with mandate to the sheriffs of Nottingham, Stafford, York, Rutland, Leicester, Norfolk and Suffolk, and the stewards in bailiwicks the said honour is situated, not to intermeddle therein, if they have taken anything pertaining to the said Patrick's bailiwick are to restore it; and they are to distrain the tenants so often as by the said Patrick. .
