Charter, at the instance of John, prior of Newburgh, granting to Richard de Murers and his heirs free warren in his demesne lands of Elvington, co. York. Witnesses: John de Plessetis, earl of Warwick, John de Grey, the said prior, Nicholas de Molis, Roger de Monte Alto, John de Burgo, William de Grey, John de Gerres, Nicholas de Sancto Mauro, William Gernun and others. Bond to Th. de Brampton, serjeant of the king's chapel, in 8 marks for a horse which the king took from him at Meilhan, and gave to Oliver de Ingeham for a horse which he lost in the king's service; with promise to pay the same when the treasurer comes from England.
