by judgment of the court of King's Bench on the octave 2 Edward III, the king recovered against Henry, bishop of the presentation to the prebend of Nassyngton in the church of Lincoln, then void and in his gift by reason of voidance of of Lincoln in the time of Edward I, and afterwards collated to Humphrey de Hastang, king's clerk; and whereas the sheriff of Northampton to make known to de filiis Ursi of Rome, incumbent of the prebend due title as is said, to be before him in the chancery weeks of Easter last, to shew wherefore he detained of the prebend, and the sheriff returned that he known to the said Ursus, that he should be there at the said which day he, when called in the chancery, came not; the king the dean and chapter of the said church to admit Humphrey prebend.
