The like to Roger de Somervill, Robert de Scorburgh and Adam de Hoperton on complaint by the prior of Bridelyngton that Thomas de Hertford, Robert de Thorpe, John de Thorpe, Ivo de Thorpe, John son of John son of William de Apilton, Alan le Fleccher of Richemund and others carried away his goods at Eseby, co. York, and assaulted Geoffrey de Bolton, one of the canons, who had been deputed by him to prosecute certain matters before Thomas Wake and his fellows, justices of oyer and terminer, so that he could not fulfil his mission, and the men and servants of the prior.
