Whereas Master Robert Braybrok, bishop of London, Master Edmund Stafford, bishop of Exeter, Thomas Percy, earl of Worcester, Thomas Stanley, clerk of the rolls of Chancery, Nicholas Myles, clerk, John de Boys, Nicholas Bradshawe, Thomas Charleton, John Durward, Ralph Chaumberleyn and John Lyghtfote lately acquired to themselves and their heirs from Eleanor de Bohun, late duchess of Gloucester, a moiety of the manor of Wetheresfeld and the advowson of the church of the manor, co. Essex, and two parts of the manor of Arnhale, co. Nottingham, held in chief, and the reversion of the third part of the manor of Arnhale which Joan, countess of Hereford, holds in dower after the death of her husband Humphrey de Bohun, late earl of Hereford, and entered therein without licence ; the king, for 10/. paid to him by the said bishop of London, pardons the trespass in this and grants licence for them to grant the said two parts and reversion of the third part to Sybil Beauchamp for life.
