Commission to William Bonevile, knight, William Bodrygan, knight, Thomas Bere, William Bere, Walter Coode, Thomas Roscroke and the sheriff of Cornwall to make inquisition in the said county touching the pirates who are alleged to have taken a ship of Brittany called Seint Terbawede of Laudyrnewe, whereof Master Shaune is master, laden with salt, iron and other merchandise belonging to John Wellys, John Waryn and others the king's lieges, under safe conduct and to have brought her to Pernyn [Penryn] where the cargo was sold or otherwise disposed of; and to arrest them and the ship and safely keep it until further command. 18.
