Grant, for life, to John Iwardeby, for his service of more than thirty years to the king's grandfather and father and to the king at the Receipt of the Exchequer, of 11. a year from the manor of Weston Turvyle, co. Buckingham, and 91. a year from that of Great Kymbell, co. Buckingham. By p.s. 25. Whereas John Barbour, late of Cirencestre, co. Gloucester, fied into the church of Duresley, co. Gloucester, and, having asked for a coroner, by on Wednesday before the Annunciation, 15 Henry VI, confessed to William Warner, one of the coroners of the county, that on Wednesday, being the vigil of St. Matthew the Apostle in the same year (sic), he stole at Tetbury a bay horse worth 10s. belonging to William Taillour of Tetbury, and thereupon duly abjured the realm and had Bristol appointed for his port of embarkation, the king, out of pity, pardons him the said felony and abjuration.
