Grant to Roger Damory and his heirs of 100 marks a year to be received at the Exchequer, until the king provides him with lands to the value of the 100 marks a year still remaining due under a former grant. With the assent of the Parliament at York the king had granted the manor of Sandhalle, co. York, held by him of the gift of Gerard Salvayn, the manor of Halghton, co. Oxford, which Edmund de Cornubia, sometime earl of Cornwall had acquired to him and his heirs, and which the said earl granted to Bartholomew de Kancia for his life, upon whose death the manor fell into the king's hands, and the manor of Faukeshalle, co. Surrey, which Richard de Gereseye had held for life of his grant, to the said Roger Damory and Elizabeth his wife, the king's niece, to hold to them and the heirs of the body of the said Roger together with knights fees, advowsons of churches, &c. to the value of 50 marks of land a year in part satisfaction of lands to the value of 1001. a year, which he had promised to provide for the said Roger.
