Licence for Robert de Monte Alto and Emma his wife, who hold the manor of Whaddon, held in chief, in dower of the said Emma of the inheritance of Richard de Burgo, earl of Ulster, that they may grant to John Giffard of Whaddon, to hold to him and his heirs for the life of the said Emma, 80 acres of waste in the said manor, so that he may enclose the same and reduce it to cultivation; licence also for the earl of Ulster to grant his reversion in the said 80 acres, upon the death of the said Emma, to the said John and his heirs to hold from him by the usual services.
