Grant for life to the king's servant Edmund Graveley of the office of carpenter of the king's works within the palace of Westminster and Tower of London and elsewhere within the realm with wages of 12d. from the issues of the manors or lordships of Wrottell, Haveryng, Hadlegh, Raylegh and Rocheford, co. Essex, and Tunbrigge, Middelton and Merdon and the hundred of Middelton, co. Kent, a robe of the suit of the king's esquires yearly at the great wardrobe all other profits, cuttings (disctdtis), chips (quisquiltis), mansions, and commodities, and arrears of wages from 7 July last, from time he has occupied the office at the king's command.
