Grant to the king's servant John Sapcotes, one of the esquires of the and the heirs male of his body, for his good service against the rebels, the lordships and manors of Iplepenne with its members, co. Devon, of value of 80/., and Nethirham and Stoke with their members, co. Somerset, of the yearly value of 50/., to hold with advowsons, wards, marriages, reliefs, escheats, hundreds, fines, heriots, leets, courts, suits of court, homages, views of frank pledge, warrens and other profits by knightservice and a rent of 10 marks yearly. Whereas John Vernam, clerk, and Humphrey Belcher have the custody of all manors, lands and hereditaments late of William Trussel, knight, the manor or lordship of Wyllaston and all lands called Bruersalgh in the county of Chester excepted, during the minority of Edward Trussell his son and heir, rendering to the king 108. yearly, the king grants this rent to William Huse, knight, chief justice of the King's Bench, from Martinmas last.
