Licence for John Coket of Ampton, co. Suffolk, Thomas Heigham, John Coket son of the said John, Richard Heigham and Clement Clerk, or their executors and assigns, to found a perpetual chantry of one chaplain to celebrate divine service daily at the altar of St. Mary in the parish church of Ampton for the good estate of the king and his consort Elizabeth, queen of England, his sons Edward, prince of Wales, and Richard, duke of York, marshal of England, and the said John Coket the father and Alice his wife and for their souls after death, to be called the chantry of John Coket at the altar of St. Mary in the said church, and for them to grant in mortmain to the said chaplain lands, rents, annuities and other possessions, not held in chief, to the value of 10 marks yearly.
