Grant to the prior and convent of the monastery of St. Mary, Carlisle, the hospital of St. Nicholas by Carlisle and all it s lands, rights, liberties, commodities and emoluments immediately after the death of John Thorpe, who has it of the king's grant by letters patent, or it shall become void; so that they shall find a canon priest, to called the king's chaplain, to celebrate masses and other divine services the monastery for the good estate of the king and his consort Elizabeth, of England, and their children, and for their souls after death: z y K.
