The like to William Martyn, John de Foxle and John de Batesford, on complaint by William Poer, coroner of the late king in the islands of Sullye, which pertain to the county of Cornwall, that Ranulph de Albo Monasterio, Michael Petit, Edmund Speccot, John Galbere, Robert abbot of Tavystok, brother John de Yalmeton, brother John de Exonia, Oliver de Sullye, chaplain, Richard de Albo Monasterio, Ralph le Messer, Henry Sage, John le Teler, John le Poys, John Coignies and Thomas his son, Adam del Kernygou, Acius del Leueldre, Geoffrey Je Coupere, Peter Figeges, Michael de Tremolefyn, Thomas Gylemyn, John Corbyn, John de Cargouel, Thomas de Nansdreisek, Thomas le Fevre and Ranulph his son, John Tregarn, Robert Tregarn, John de Kernygou, Luke Gelard, Richard le Carpenter, Roger Wedyn, Arnald de Nansdreisek, Geoffrey Venour, Thomas son of Matilda, Thomas Dullan, Thomas Elianor, Roger son of Muriell, Thomas Dollyn, Andrew de Pordlo, Thomas son of Alice, Richard le Forester, Gervase Heuldry, Benedict Aliz, Nicholas de Bonneges and Robert de Heucastel, on his arrival at la Val and Treskau in those islands, as a conservator of the peace to enquire touching homicides, robberies and other felonies, caused him to be taken and imprisoned at the town of la Val until he made a fine of 100s. with them for his release. That whereas Ralph de Albo Monasterio held his castle of Enor in the island of Sullye by the service of finding and maintaining 12 men at arms in the castle for the preservation of the peace in the islands, he did not do so, but received felons, thieves, outlaws and homicides, wherehy he and his bailiffs were obstructed, and could not enter the islands to execute the office of coroner and the precepts of the late king.
