Grant to Humphrey de Bohnan, earl of Hereford and Essex, and to his wife, Elizabeth countess of Holland, the king's sister, of 40/. 10s. 10d., and 20/.,as the amount of the third penny for the counties of Hereford and Essex respectively, as in the re-grant to them by the late king, to whom the earl had surrendered all his lands, etc., in England and Wales, of all such lands and honors and of the constableship of England, these sums were in error stated to be receivable by the earl from the sheriff of Essex, for the honor of that county and from the sheriff of Hereford for the constableship.
