Signification to S. bishop of London, of the king's revocation of his presentation of John de Eldecote, king's clerk, to the church of Esthanyngeld, in the diocese of London, believed to be in the king's gift by reason of his custody of the land and heir of John de Hastyng , tenant in chief, but found by inspection of the late king's rolls of Chancery to have been, with other advowsons, assigned to Thomas le Blount, now deceased, and Juliana his wife, formerly the wife of the said John de Hastyng , as her dower; that the said bishop may discharge his duty herein ut the presentstion of William de Clynton, her present husband, until it has been . determined in court whether the advowson belongs to the king or to the sald William.
