to John the Miller (mo/endinarius) for the death of Thomas le as it appears by the record of Ralph de Sandwyco and Stephen justices appointed to deliver Neugate gaol, that he killed By K. to Edmund, earl of Cornwall, the king's kinsman, of the custody of 1299. : mnde by the king and council at Kenington, until their lands taken by the king of France be restored, or until further order. If the issues thereof exceed the value specified for their maintenance by the said ordinance, the surplus is to remain to the king, if thay fall short, the deficiency shall be made good otherwise. Aug. 18.
