IJnsperimus and confirmation of another charter by Thomas de Hastinges confirming to the canons of Egglestone serving God there, for the safety of his own soul and the souls of his ancestors and successors, the advowson of the church of Stretford, which Elena. de Hastinges his mother conferred upon them, as is contained in her charter which the said canons hold, so that whenever the church of Stretford shall be void, the canons shall have free facility of presenting to that church whomsoever they will, or of converting it to their own uses if they will, nor eball it be lawful for him or any of his succesgors or heirs ever to claim any right in the patrofage of the church.
