Exemption, for life, for John de Triple, citizen of London, in enlargement, of a like exemption granted to him, 12 March, 3 Edward IL., of which he did not obtain the letters patent, from all tallages, aids, wakes, and contributions of whatsoever kind for his lands, tenements, rents, or other goods or merchandise within or without the city of London, to be levied for the king and his heirs, due and accustomed prises excepted ; exemption also for him from being put on assizes, juries, or recognisances ; from being made mayor, sheriff, escheator, coroner, provost, or alderman, &c.; and from any assessment which the commonalty of the city of, London, or of any other place, may grant to the king. By p.s. 18, Pardon to William de Boton of Goldington for the death of Thomas le Shepherde of Goldington, as it appears by the record of Henry Spigurnel and Walter de Molesworthe, justices of gaol delivery for Bedford, that he killed him in self-defence.
