Commission associating Thomas de Fyssheburne with the above justices, Westminster, 28 November, 1308. (Inserted at a later date.) The like to the same justices, on complaint by Johnson of Roger de la Wodehalle that William son of William de Emlee, Roger de Sancto Andrea, William de Boeston, Roger Tylly, John de Byrton, chaplain, Ralph de Luda, Henry de Chet, Thomas son of Richard le Clerk of Wakefeld, Thomas Ben of Sandale, Alexander Ben of Sandale, John de Worteleye, Thomas Dan, William le Keu, Robert Page and Thomas de Hoton, with others, besieged him in his manor at la Wodehalle near Wombewelle, co. York, broke the park of the manor and hunted therein, killed certain of his domestic animals then in the park, and, notwithstanding the prohibition of the keepers of the peace for the county, continued to commit these outrages, mowed his grass, felled his trees, entered and broke the houses of the manor and carried away his goods.
