Appointment, with her assent, of Artaud, lord of Mirambeau (de Mitrabello), Adam de Norfolk, and Peter Ode, king's clerk, to prosecute in the name of the said Eleanor and the king a plaint and demand inst William Ruffy, late bailiff of Saintes and provost of the Isle of Oleron, Nicholas de Passu Fyotes, Garenarius Morinum and William Antern, late serjeants in Saintes and their subordinates (subditos) and against the provost of Heyers, William de Cathetis, Nicholas Maufurre, John de Floribus, Elyas Chesac, late provosts of the Isle of Oleron, and their subordinates touching the account, arrears, debts, inheritances and purchases of these persons during the time of their office in the lands aforesaid, who are commanded to answer and muke satisfaction to all complainants against them, as bailiffs (dajulc) and officials of the above-mentioned lands; with power to the aforesaid Artaud, Adam and Peter to seize the said inheritances and all goods and purchases of the aforesaid officials, and to dispose thereof according to right and the custom of those parts and their own discretion. 5.
