Pardon to John de Cameys, in consideration of a demise made by him the king and his consort of the manors of Thorpel and Upton for ten years, from Monday, the Annunciation, 8 Edward I., of 500 marks which . 367 he owes the king; but if it shall appear that he owes the king a greater sum, whether fur the debts of himself or his father or ancestors, he is to sutisfy the king thereof at the Exchequer.
