. 231 (Schedule) or his heirs should wish to take from the said John the said castle or of the said tenements, an equivalent should be assigned to the said before disseising him, in houses and rents in Gascony. Be it known that this letter was granted at Rothelan, the king being there, afterwards at Dover, 28 January, G Edward I. it was sealed and with other letters of the said John de Greilly to the bishop of Bath Wells, the chancellor.
