Inspeximus of a concord made before Edward firstborn of Henry ITI. dated at London, 5 August 1269, between Sir John de Insula, knight, of the one part, and Odo de Rota and Gerald his brother of the other part, touching the will of Agnes, sometime lady of Villa Lata, whereby the latter promises, in discharge of all claim of the said John in her estate, to pay him 50 marks of silver in the castle of Bordeaux at the Purification following, 1002. sterling at All Saints following, and 50 marks at the Purification following, and likewise every year until what is due to him by the said will is paid, on pain of distraint by the seneechal of Gascony and the constable of Bordeaux, which the king is willing to enforce. 27.
