Commission to Nicholas de Stapelton and Ralph de Broughton (1) To punish persons convicted before the king of having exported wool and other to Flanders, and having, contrary to the king's prohibition and own oath, had dealings with the Flemings during the late contentions Henry III. and the king with the countess of Flanders, to seize goods and take amends from them. (2) To inquire what persons Trent have committed the like offences, and to punish the offenders. (8) Toinquire what archbishops, bishops, abbots, priors, earls, barons, or beyond Trent have permitted such traffic to pass through their ports districts, and to punish the offenders.
