Inspevimus of a writing of John de Cusancia, prior of the house of St. Saviour, Bermondeseye, and the convent of that place, dated in their chapter at Bermondeseye, on the Purification, 24 Edward III, granting for life to Sir William de Osberton, clerk, a rent of 50 marks out of their lands in Bermondeseye, Bandon, Delewych and Leyham, co. Surrey ; and confirmation of the same, notwithstanding that the grant was made after eC eee eee Membrane Y cunt. the priory had passed into the king's hands on account of the war with France, on condition that the farm due to the king during the war be not thereby diminished, or he excluded from any other profit pertaining to him in time of voidance, by such confirmation. For 20s. paid to the king by the said William in the hanaper.
