Whereas William de Etton is indicted, as is said, of being a common malefactor and disturber of the peace, of having burned the houses of the prior of Watton at Etton, of the death of Nicholas de Etton, of a robbery from John de Thirnom at Thirnom and of larcenies and trespasses against Hugh del Clay and William Ward of Etton, co. York; in consideration of good service done by him for a long time in the garnson of Berwick on Tweed, the king has pardoned him his suit of the peace in the premises and any consequent outlawry.
