Appointment of Henry, bishop of St. Davids to the custody of the manor and land of La Newehouse, escheats to the king by the forfeiture of Roger de Mortuo Mari, ear] of March, which are held of the hishop by a yearly service of 8 marks and are of the yearly value of 71s.24d., as appears by inquisitions and extents taken first by Gilbert Talbot, justice of South Wales, and afterwards by John Gifford his deputy. He is to retain the same until the next Parliament rent free in recompence of the said service, unless the king order otherwise in the meantime. 16.
