to Robert de Wylughby, knight, Ralph de Cromwell, Philip Tylney, knight, James de Roos, knight, John de Rocheford, Thomas Pynchebek, John de Rocheford the younger, John de Thomas Claymond and Richard de la Launde, on the information parsons and vicars of parish churches in the parts of Holand, that several chaplains, who yearly serve divers fraternities secular persons in those churches, maliciously resist and refuse the said parsons and vicars or to perform divine offices therein at bidding, and have induced their masters and other abettors to beat the said parsons and vicars, and insult and threaten them with so that they cannot attend to their duties in the said churches or to proceed against them according to the statutes of the church, to and certify touching the premises, arrest the chaplains and their and imprison them until further order.
