Prohibition directed to archbishops, bishops, abbots, priors, deans, archdeacons and other ecclesiastics, notaries public and others reciting the statute of the thirteenth year, against the acceptance of an benefice contrary to the statute [of Provisors] of 25 Edward ITI, and the penalty for suing execution of a provision by the Pope to any benefice that was full 29 January in the said year, and that the church of Bishops Cleeve was at that date and long before filled by Master John Haseley, by the collation to him thereof by Henry, bishop of Worcester, patron of the same, and that Master Henry Bowet and others seek to disturb his possession and expel him under the authority of certain graces, not executed at the date aforesaid, and are suing him in court Christian against any such attempt to the prejudice of the king or damage of the said John.
