Safe-conduct, until Whitsunday, for Adam Gurdon and John de Inchemartyn, knights, Masters Nicholas de Balmil and Thomas de Bonnequil, clerks, of the realm of Scotland, coming to Canterbury a fortnight after Easter on the matter of the treaty proposed to be made there between the English and Scots by the king of France, and for their households. By K. 28. __ Protection for the same, if by any chance they or any of them should be Evesham. detained beyond Whitsunday, while so detained. 28. _Power, until Whitsunday, to William le Latimer, the elder, Brian son of Evesham. Alan, Ralph son of William, and Robert Hastang, or any one of them, to conduct the above persons to Canterbury.
