Licence, at the instance of Mary, queen of France, and of Margaret, queen Rose Castle. of England, the kiug s consort, for the abbess of Caen to sell, fell and carry away 10/. of wood of her wood of Blacholeheye, within the metes of the forest of Kssex, and underwood there to the amount of 30 acres, and from the hays and wood of Ielatede in that forest to the amount of 10 marks, and from her other woods not within the forest dead wood and underwood to the amount of 60/. by view of Walter de Felstede, the king's keeper of the lands of that abbess in England ; on condition that she cause the woods not within the forest to be enclosed with dyke and low hedge according to the assise of the forest.
