Confirmatfon of a grant by Walter de Gloucestre, escheator this side Trent, to Margaret, late the wife of John Giffard of Brymmesfeld, of the custody, during the minority of John the heir, of the castle of Brymmesfeld from Michaelmas, 27 Edward I., by the rent of 23 . ; also of a like grant to her of the manors of Begeworth and Rochampton, co. Gloucester, Scharnton, Orcheston and Aiston, co. Wilts, tenements in Clifford, co. Hereford, and in Peton, co. Salop, late of the said John Giffard, with the appurtenances except knight's fees and advowsons of churches, from the morrow of Michaelmas, 27 Edward I., by the rent of 1062. 5s. 14d. The rents are to be paid to the king by the hands of the said escheator.
