Inspeximus of a charter sealed with the seal which the king used before he assumed the governance of the realm, dated Sicily, 15 January, 50 Henry ITI., whereby he granted to William son of Warin land to the yearly value of 380/. in the coanty of Connaught in Ireland, as extended by Roger de Clifford, with all the rights thereto pertaining, to hold to him, his heirs and assigns by the service of half a knight's fee. Witnesses: Sir Henry de Almania, William de Valencia, Thomas de Clare, John de Verdone, Roger de Clifford, Robert Tibotot, John de Vescy, Otto de Grandisono, Richard de Rupella, Hugh son of Otto, and others.
