Grant, for life, at the supplication of the Commons in the present Parliament, and in fulfilment of the king's promise on their supplication in the last Parliament, to the king's clerk, John de Scardeburgh who has long served in Chancery, but in the last Parliament for some irregularity in the king's service wae disabled from obtaining any ecclesiastical benefice of all the lands and tenements in Suthwhetele, co. Nottingham, late of Michael de la Pole, earl of Suffolk, in the king's hands by his forfeiture, to the value of 10/. a year, and if they exceed that value he is to surrender the surplus at the Exchequer every year.
