Appointment, by mainprise of Stephen Holt and John Coryng, both of Suggex, of John de Harleston, clerk, Thomas Overton, clerk, and John Bonette, to the custody, with the marriage of the heir, of the lands and tenements, late of Thomas de Cherleton, tenant in chief, from the date of his death, during the minority of his heir or successive heirs, paying 501. therefor at the Exchequer, the said mainpernors being bound with them in the sum of 100/., and they paying to John Peytevyn, the king's esquire, his expenses in securing the king's right to the said custody and marriage.
